This morning was pretty exciting as our borehole started to yield artesian flow at a rate of 5l/s and up to 42 deg C. We considered starting up a business as the 'Whataroa Thermal Baths' but instead decided to change the mud weight to counteract the fluid pressure. As of this evening we have advanced 12 inch casing to 236.6m and are now running 10 inch casing inside this.
