The cores are arranged in order of increasing depth/age from left to right. What could these dramatic changes in color mean? That makes Hole A at Drill Site #1 complete at just over 100 meters depth! The ICDP logging team from GFZ Potsdam is now on the rig taking in-situ measurements from the borehole.
