We made steady progress while drilling today, although most of the rock recovered was highly fractured in nature. The rain came down heavily this afternoon, and we needed it after such a dry January. We are working on many core processing tasks at once now that two University of Hawaii at Hilo students have joined our science team. At the time of this report, we are coring at a depth of 10,627'.
