The required parts for our fishing job arrived on Saturday afternoon, and recovery of the core bit and reamer shell was completed on Sunday morning. During the recovery process, a bearing on the rig draw works showed signs of incipient failure. After short-term servicing, we were able to complete the recovery process. Further evaluation of the bearing problem indicated that significant delays could be encountered in completing a repair. Hence, we decided to take our scheduled crew break a bit earlier than anticipated. When the parts and repair equipment are assembled, the drilling crew will return and we will resume coring operations at that time. There will be occasional updates over the next few weeks when project collaborators visit the site, but daily updates will not start up again until drilling resumes.
