Today we recovered a bit of very interesting rock, and then had trouble recovering any rock at all. We processed what looked like a zoned intrusion this morning. The intrusion contained elongate, flow-lineated olivine at its top and bottom, and clots of large, equant olivine grains in its interior. Unfortunately, the rock below this unit was highly fractured to rubbly in nature, and we were only able to recover one more full run for the rest of the day. At the time of this report, we are coring at a depth of 10,926'.
