Last night the decision was made to change the bit, so there was only one run of core waiting for us to process this morning. While the drillers were tripping in the new bit, the on-site science team was slabbing, scanning, photographing, and logging the core. We are seeing many interesting features in each box of core; from glassy pillow margins, to pillow breccia intervals, to primary and secondary mineral occurrences. At the time of this report, we are washing down to the bottom of the hole, 10767'. We hope to continue coring operations later this evening.
