Today we recovered the first coring runs of the project! The runs were composed entirely of rubble and were no more than two feet thick each, but we are making progress. We think that the zone we are currently drilling is fractured at least partly from tricone rotary drilling done last year during the opening of the hole. Hopefully we will be able to drill though this interval over the next few days, and into more coherent rock.
