The drill string was loose at 19:00 yesterday and the string was pulled up to a depth of 2935m. After checking its status run in hole was started and drilling resumed. At mid night the well has reached a depth of 3346 m which makes it the deepest geothermal well in Iceland. Currently drilling is ongoing and at 12:00 the depth is 3383 m.
