Today, Akimasa Ishida and Kosuke Sugiumra tested the Babrosco-Quartzite and Crown Lava with their DCDA instrument. Michael Rickenbacher scanned 8 different core sections which will be later shipped to ETH Zurich and tested in the laboratory. The goal of testing core in the lab is to retrieve relevant geological and geotechnical parameters about the host rock of the Orkney-earthquake.
