During a first look at the latest core boxes, the contact zone between the intrusive and the quartzite was studied. The contact is generally sharp and full of calcite and quarz veins. Unfortunately, the contact zone does not exhibit any fresh fractures and cracks and therefore, the contact zone was not reactivated during the M5.5 earthquake. Furthermore, Michael Rickenbacher and Kosuke Sugimura started to scan the bore core with the ICDP-core scanner.
