After the today's drilling shift, the drilling advanced to a depth of 745 meters. At this stage, the borehole has not yet intersected the seismogenic zone of the Orkney earthquake from 2014. Untill now, no earthquake related fractures could be recognized on the drilled core. The drilling during the next few days and the following geophysical borehole logging are going to give more information about the probable fault zone of the Orkney earthquake.
