We had the privilege of showcasing the Bushveld Drilling Project (BVDP) core to the ICDP's panels at the Council for Geoscience (CGS) today. With cores on display from different ICDP drilling projects the event proudly demonstrated the impact of ICDP drilling funds in South Africa. The delegates also had the opportunity to see first-hand what happens to the core material upon arrival at the Donkerhoek core repository, including how it is prepared and scanned for hyperspectral imaging. We extend our sincere gratitude to the CGS for also hosting a wonderful dinner. The delegates thoroughly enjoyed the warm hospitality and delicious South African cuisine.
