The ICDP 2025 Training Course, held in Weinan, People’s Republic of China, has successfully concluded. We extend our gratitude to all the participants, instructors, and the WEIHE project team for making this event a remarkable experience for the global scientific drilling community.

About the Course

This intensive program provided early-career scientists and engineers with hands-on experience in advanced drilling, coring techniques, downhole testing, sample management, project planning, and effective communication skills. Participants learned from leading experts and built a strong network within the ICDP community to help address key global issues in geosciences.

The ICDP 2025 Training Course on Continental Scientific Drilling was jointly organized with the WEIHE project. The course program is available here.
