Drilling through sediments continues at Mountain Home. Slow going: the intercalation of sand, clay, and gravel makes it difficult to penetrate with core bit, but recovery is still fairly good at around 80%. The gravel beds especially make trouble for the bit and the core catcher. Depth 445.9 meters as of 08-03-11.
