Logging of the hole has finished and the next step ...
Sunset on the drill rig

Logging of the hole has finished and the next step is opening the hole in order to cement in 4.5" casing. This is being done to exclude the cold water aquifer from potential low or high grade geothermal water. Before we can proceed we need to remove the stuck rods from the hole. Here are the details of yesterdays efforts: Steel in the hole starts at 475 fbs and ends at 715 fbs with a 13 foot BHA at the bottom of the HQ hole. We started our fishing work of the HQ steel in the hole. We tripped in the NQ cutter into yhr parted HQ rods and cut the Hq at 600 fbs. Tripped out the NQ cutter, Tripped in the HQ bowen spear. We removed the HQ cut of 125 feet. We tripped in the NQ cutter and made another cut at 650 fbs. Tripped out the NQ cutter, Tripped in the bowen spear and fished the 50 feet of cut rod. At this point we tripped in the NQ cutter and hit a bridge at 610 fbs. We then tripped out the NQ cutter and tripped in the HQ rods with a milling bit on and reamed the hole and milled 8 of rod. Currently Tripping in the NQ Cutter to make a cut at 605 fbs. Steel in hole currently at 650 fbs to 715 fbs and BHA at the bottom of HQ hole. We are currently 3 days ahead of drilling/logging schedule as outlined.
