Today marked the last day of major downhole work at the first drill site! Sand was poured downhole around the screened section of PVC to allow equilibration with the water level. Once the water level stabilized, the pore pressure sensor was installed. A layer of bentonite was laid over the sand, and the remainder of the hole was cemented. The strainmeter is hooked up to a temporary solar panel setup for the long weekend. So far the data looks good.
