Temperature and CBL (Cement Bond Log) logging was completed between 07:00 and 12:00 o’clock yesterday morning. The temperature measurements show that the well was well cooled prior to cementing and the cement bond log indicated a good and consistent bonding of the cement between the casing and the borehole wall from the first intermediate casing shoe around log depth 257 m down to the measured base of the CBL around 750 m. This concludes the second drilling stage and well operations at the IDDP-1 wellsite for the year 2008. The mast of the rig Jötunn has already been lowered and the transfer of the drill rig will commence tomorrow morning. Next year in spring - drilling activities are planned to continue with the next drilling stage down to 2400 m for the 13 5/8" anchor casing, and the remaining casing program during the summer, see the IDDP website (www.iddp.is) for closer information.
