Drilling stage 2 commenced shortly before midnight at 275 m. Drilling progress has been fairly slow during the night and at 8 o'clock is MD 297 m. Currently there is a snow blizzard here in Krafla making working conditions difficult. Wind speed has been mesured more than 50 m/s in the top of the mast.
