A total length of 100 m was drilled the last 24 hours. Depth at 7:15 o'clock was 1185 m. Drilling has been going slowly with an average ROP of 7.8 m/hr. Measurements show no loss of circulation and inclination ~1.5°. Drilling parameters have been as follows: WOB 3-7 tonnes, RPM 220, pump rate 60 l/s and pressure on stand pipe ~140 bars. Torque has increased from 1000-1200 dNm to 1800-2000 dNm at intervals, probably because of a rigid setup of BHA and variable hardness of the basaltic rock formation. At the depth of 1194,8 m the stand pipe pressure and the torque dropped suddenly, possibly because of a failure in the BHA. The string is now beeing pulled out of the hole.
