Tullis Onstott, former SAG member and PI of the ICDP's DSEIS project, passed away on October 19, 2021

ICDP is deeply saddened by the news that Tullis Onstott, Professor of Geociences at Princton University, passed away on October 19 at the age of 66. Tullis was a former SAG member and PI of the ICDP's DSEIS project. His passion were structure, function and activity of subsurface microbial ecosystems, which he and his group studied in mines, boreholes and underground laboratories. Those who knew him personally know what a lovely person and inspiring scientist we have lost.
