ICDP provides line scanning devices for whole round and split hard rock cores, and for split soft rock cores, both without liner. The used core diameter range lies between 4 to 22cm. The maximum length of a core section is 1m. Two DMT Core Scan Colour (1998-2000), left and one DMT Core Scan3 (2011), right are available (see Fig.). ICDP projects can apply for it in the full proposal, and finally rent it for a short maintenance fee and the unavoidable shipping costs. The handling is part of the Theme-Specific Training.
