Supporting Continental Scientific Drilling
A perspective from within and without
In October 2016 the ICDP celebrated its 20th anniversary with a conference held in Potsdam by discussing the way forward in geosciences, how national funding agencies can strengthen scientific drilling in the future, and how the Operational Support Group, an important element of ICDP since the beginning of the program, shall be involved in upcoming projects.
Therefore, about 100 selected people have been invited by ICDP to partake, people with views from within and people with views from without.
A roadmap for operational support describing OSG's way forward for 2017-2022 has been published.
