We are happy to announce the second edition of the ICDP ECR Workshop – Next Generation, taking place in 2026.

This annual workshop brings together early career scientists from across the globe to engage with the international scientific drilling community, expand their professional networks, and connect with experienced ICDP mentors.

As the official entry point into the ICDP Mentorship Program, the Next Generation Workshop plays a key role in shaping the future of scientific drilling. Participants will have the opportunity to be considered for the mentorship program, making it a unique and valuable step toward long-term career development and collaboration within the field.

A call for applications will be opening soon. For the moment, just keep in mind that you will need to submit:

• A letter of interest
• Contact information for your referees
