NamCore Sampling Party at Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research

Sampling Party at at the Chinese Academy of Science (Beijing, People's Republic of China) with an international team of 24 scientists analyzing 500 meters of core to uncover past environmental changes

Scientists from across the globe have gathered at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Science, near Beijing, for the NamCore sampling party. 

From 7 - 19 May, 24 researchers will sample the 500 m of lake sediments that were recovered from lake Nam Co on the Tibetan Plateau last year to gain valuable insights into the geological history and climate patterns of the Tibetan Plateau.
