KIND Workshop Call now open!
We warmly invite you to join the ICDP workshop on Lake Kinneret Drilling: reconstructing the Pliocene-Quaternary hydroclimate and seismic history of the Levant (KIND), taking place from 12–15 July 2025 at the GFZ premises in Potsdam, Germany.
This exciting event aims to further the goals of the KIND project, which seeks to establish a high-resolution, chronostratigraphic reference record of the Pliocene-Quaternary. This includes:
• Hydroclimate data
• Paleoseismic records
• Geomagnetic studies
• Pollen and paleo-botanical findings
• Chemical and isotopic analyses
We’re particularly keen to hear from early-career scientists and participants from low-income countries, who are encouraged to apply for partial financial support from ICDP.
