ICDP 2026 Training Course
07–12 June 2026 | KTB GeoCentre, Windischeschenbach, Germany

ICDP’s annual training course returns to the historic KTB deep drilling site. 
Explore the full drilling project lifecycle — from KTB’s legacy and ICDP foundations to hands-on proposal design.

Main focus: Borehole logging (tool theory to data interpretation). Topics include drilling engineering, sample/data management, ICDP project planning, and more!
New this year: A session led by the ICDP Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network for global collaboration and skill-sharing.
Key benefits: Free participation; ICDP covers travel, visa, accommodation, and meals for selected applicants. 
Preference: ICDP project involvement, member/developing countries, or prospective members.
