ICDP Early Career Network Workshop (Chiba, Japan)

We are pleased to kick off the second edition of the ICDP Early Career Network Workshop – Next Generation in Chiba, Japan, ahead of the JpGU–AGU Joint Meeting 2026.

👏 Over the next three days, early career scientists from around the world will engage with the international scientific drilling community, expand their professional networks, and connect with experienced ICDP mentors. The workshop also serves as the entry point to the ICDP Mentorship Program, supporting the next generation of researchers in developing long-term collaborations and career pathways. 👍 

We have started the workshop with great energy — ICDP materials have been distributed, and it is wonderful to see so many enthusiastic participants and smiling faces as we begin. 😉
