Deep Chew Bahir Drilling Project: Getting to the bottom of the Quaternary (DeepCHB)

Approximately 80 scientists from around the world gathered to discuss drilling options and define the key scientific objectives for developing a full ICDP proposal to drill the Chew Bahir Basin in Ethiopia. The workshop took place from 30 June to 3 July 2026 in Addis Ababa, with an additional online hub in Potsdam, Germany. Thanks the workshop organisers and all participants for an inspiring meeting!
