The science team is happy to announce that drilling of SAFOD was completed today at noon when we reached a total depth of 13082 feet, approximately 150 feet northeast of the surface trace of the San Andreas Fault. Reaming and conditioning of the borehole begins tonight in preparation for geophysical logging operations tomorrow.
