We're back at BGR (Berlin) with Stacey and Zheng who have come from the USA to measure susceptability. They have finished measuring 1A and are well on their way to completing 1F as well.

We were delighted to welcome fourth year (and one brave third year) geology students from the University of Namibia to our drill site today. They asked insightful questions and shared their own research with us. We look forward to welcoming them back during our Orange River drilling!

We experienced water loss during drilling along this horizon today. Beautiful crystals have precipiated from groundwater taking the same route. Drilling continued in spite of it!
Today, we finished packing our first shipping container. These 11 tons of rock will be on their way to Berlin-Spandau soon for further study and sampling. After being split, half of each core will return to Namibia too.
