Last night, a sink bar was lowered in the drill string to find the nature and depth of the obstruction.
Despite considerable effort the drill string remains SIH (Stuck In Hole) and no progress has been made in moving the drill bit upwards. Flow through the string is blocked. An obstruction has been located at 1665 m inside the string and found to be made of cement.
